Backgrounds must be dry and strong enough to carry the total weight being applied. All surfaces must be clean, sound and free from contaminants that could inhibit adhesion.

Kelmore Waterproof Tape has a centrally split removable backing paper which allows staged removal for ease of application.
• Pre-cut the tape to size using scissors or a utility knife.
• Peel off part of the split paper backing, place over the joint, junction or fixing point and press firmly into place.
• Continue to remove the paper backing whilst firmly pressing and smoothing the tape into place until all the paper has been removed and the tape is smooth and strongly adhered to the background.
